Student mobile-app APIs for online exams, attendance & seat plans, a field-level student change log, drag-and-drop teacher ordering, class-roll sorting throughout student lists, and a complete end-user manual.
Three new student-facing API endpoints power the companion mobile app: take MCQ online exams end-to-end (start, answer, tab-switch detection, auto-submit on expiry, results & rank), view monthly attendance summaries and per-day records, and look up exam seat-plan assignments — all with per-student authorization and result-visibility rules.
Every edit to a student record is now captured as a field-level audit trail — who made the change, when, from which IP and browser, and the before/after value of each field. Admins and class teachers can review the full history from a student's profile, making accidental or unauthorised changes easy to trace and explain.
Arrange how teachers appear in listings with a dedicated drag-and-drop ordering screen (with up/down controls and dirty-state tracking). The chosen order is saved and preserved everywhere teachers are shown, instead of being fixed to alphabetical or insertion order.
A comprehensive, plain-language user manual now ships with the system, covering setup, every module, the admin/teacher/student portals, written & MCQ exams, fees, accounts, payroll, library, the public website, the mobile app, backups and monitoring — plus recipes, a glossary and an FAQ to speed onboarding and cut support load.
Student lists, attendance sheets and exam mark-entry screens now sort by class roll numerically (so 2 comes before 10) and show a dedicated Roll column, with blank rolls pushed to the end. Teachers can find and enter students by roll the way they actually read a register.
The teacher list has been rebuilt with summary cards (total, active, inactive, monthly salary), avatars with initials fallback, contact blocks, designation tags and status pills, plus a sortable DataTable that respects your saved list order. A new Index No column surfaces each teacher's index number at a glance.
The teacher profile now displays the Index No (with a graceful dash when unset), placed alongside the Employee ID for quick reference.
The class list gets a colourful header, an order badge for numeric ordering, left-accent row hover, and tinted per-type setup chips (subjects, teachers, exams, routine, fees) with dark-mode tuning — making each class's setup easier to scan.
Exam ID-card layout was tightened — the Affiliation No (EIIN) was dropped from the header, the schedule table columns and widths were adjusted, the redundant "Checked By"/signature cells were removed, and "Calculator" is no longer listed among prohibited items.
Footer text and settings placeholders now default to "SimpleSchool" across the admin layout, release notes and the public Skylark theme for consistent product branding.
